Get d'Clu

Get a clue & wake up! The best way to lead a nation astray of its values is to keep it ignorant of its history.

Hello World!

Welcome to https://getdclu.wordpress.com  This is Get d’Clu, as in Get A Clue, darn it!  I’ve updated my About page with what I feel is some intersting stuff about me, so check it out.

If you’ve listened to Glenn Beck or Bill O’Reilly lately or watched Sean Hannity or Fox News, you know something’s amiss here in the land of the free…  But to put our finger on it…

This will be a blog about what’s happening to America and perhaps why.  I’ll post cogent articles from conservative authors and list links I feel  are worthwhile.   I encourage discussion and polite debate about what we can do to solve these problems.   All the information on this superhighway is worthless unless you actually do something with it.  So my advice is to open your eyes to see what’s happening around you outside of your little world, learn as much as you can, figure out how to sustain your loved ones and do the patriotic thing.  If WE challenge our elected officials to vote responsibly and patriotically – that is, in the best interest of THE PEOPLE, then WE the People will regain the Republic that once stood high and proud.  But should we shirk this responsibility and ignore our duty unlike previous generations, we’ll find ourselves living a penury existence, entirely subject to government largesse.  Remember: The best way to lead a nation astray of its values is to keep it ignorant of its history(LD).

Yes, but even though these three are about as “amiss” as it is possible to get, the First Amendment protects their right to play fools.

    Sad, though, ain’t it?
