One suggestion from a YouTube commentor:

Instead of paying for the service, just downloaded a few free forms from pinkslipsforcongress and moveoutcongress and faxed them to my reps.  One of them reads,”It’s time to pack up and come home”.

Soldier’s (Desiree Paquette) suggestions for free ways to let your non-representing Reps know how you feel are worthwhile:

[W]e present two alternatives here:Diana Wingfield has come up with a black and white version in Word, that can be printed in black ink, 2 to a page. Just buy pink paper, which you may download here: DianasPinkSlip.doc

Ken Lowder, came up with a .PDF version which can be printed on  postcard stock, available at your office supply, 4 per side, which you may download here: pinkfront.pdf        pinkback.pdf

Here are the original 6 image files in a .ZIP file which has a front and back file for each format and a Word file with the entire Congressional snail mail database. Post card.zip

Congressional traditional mail database:  Congressional mailing and phone list.doc

Lastly, for those who may not be able to afford postage, or those who find it simpler to email their members, I have included an email version for you here. You have my permission to cut and paste this into an email. Here is the Congressional email address list which also has the fax numbers in case you wish to communicate the pink slip in that way: http://www.conservativeusa.org/mega-cong.htm

Go ahead and ReTweet her message on Twitter as well so it can continue to go viral:

Obamacare Mob Rule

{Sound of hammer pounding nails into wood slowly, deliberately.  Freedom is Slavery
Night sounds in background.  Cue bad guy music…}

The sound you hear is our Constitution being buried in its coffin of tyranny and indifference.  Like awakening to a nightmare of life in Orwell’s 1984 or Huxley’s Brave New World, only unable to really wake up, such is the case with the horrific visions of waiting lines and drone-like people in gray clothing obediently taking their daily dose of numbing soma…

In The End of America, In the Middle of the Night, Adam Murdock, MD, asks:

Since when did the Constitution provide for a health care guarantee? Since when did the Constitution grant the Congress the power to force Americans into a health care dystopia? What good is a Constitution if we choose to ignore it? What good is a Constitution if the Congress simply chooses to create a new one in their own graven socialist image?

It surely is a sad state of affairs when the People speak loudly, clearly and resourceful, and those to whom the message is directed willfully disregard the information, the intent and those producing it.  It is WE who will surely pay for our non-representing Representatives’ decisions this weekend in regard to Healthcare.

lessons_great_depression_1

Universal Healthcare will takeover 1/6 (20%) of the US economy.
As we are already reeling from the unsustainable levels of government spending & debt and unemployment has reached at least 10% nationwide, the middle-class is going to be hardest hit.  The wealthier Americans will be able to pay any additional taxes required by new HC legislation and lower-income people won’t owe taxes or will receive subsidies, so we will be burdened with upholding the entire system!

Yet, the forgotten man will be the middle class working American who now already struggling against the burden of economic ruin will be forced to pay fines or even face possible jail time for not complying with our government’s take over of his/her health care. As this tax sinks in, the middle class will be forced downward into the ranks of the working poor and therefore into the ranks of government rationed medical care. Inevitably, government healthcare will swallow the whole of the medical insurance world and there will be no escape. (Murdock)

If this were any other country, the people would take to the streets with rocks, guns and anything else to signify their anger and disgust with the government.  There would be uprisings and broken windows and riots and tear gas and police barricades and everything else you see on TV about other countries’ political upheavals…

Oh, but this is America, the land of the somacose and the home of the bound!

What’s more despicable is a situation in which the whole of Republicanism SAVE ONE votes against this travesty.  Let’s turn now to Pamela Geller’s (Atlas Shrugged) ample description of this weekend’s malpractice of justice.  (All emphasis in red is mine.)

Under cover of darkness and treachery, a stunned and grieving nation, reeling from the largest terrorist attack on a military base in U.S. history, was victimized and terrorized again — but this time from a different enemy within, our elected officials. The snakes pulled a fast one on a Saturday night. Despite overwhelming and unprecedented opposition to nationalized obamacare (tea parties, town halls, 912 rallies, Bachmann’s call for action) the craven statists in the House of Representatives passed the homicidal healthcare resolution. One more shackle on our necks to enslave the individual.

Instead of passing emergency legislation to protect the American people (the only real purpose of the government) from the infiltration of jihadists in the crucial institutions of national security.

Whatever happens, remember that your elected officials whom you voted for, whom you stood behind, whom you trusted, stabbed you, your children, your country in the neck.

[…]

Ayn Rand wrote:  A “mixed economy” [socialism/capitalism] is a society in the process of committing suicide.

A nation cannot survive half-slave, half-free. Consider the condition of a nation in which every other social group becomes both the slave and the enslaved of every other group. Ask yourself how long such a condition can last and what its inevitable outcome will be.

Statism is a system of perpetual civil war. And that war in a “mixed economy” takes the form of “pressure group” warfare, each group fighting for legislation to extort its own advantage by force from all other groups.

STATISM is nothing more than gang rule.

Continental Congress 2009

What Is Continental Congress 2009?

Tradition, Necessity & Legal Process Merge
For two weeks in November, delegates representing The People of the fifty states will join together in the tradition of the Founding Fathers and their Continental Congress of 1774. Continental Congress 2009 will convene as a national assembly of We The People and attest to the increasing abuses of our Governing Documents. Together, we will decide what peaceful, legal steps can be taken to bring about compliance with our Freedom documents. Learn more…

Our Nation Is Out of Control

Constitutionally, Economically, Ethically & Legally
Billion dollar bailouts, federal spending into debt that enslaves our children, trillions spent on wars in places most Americans can’t find on a map or tell you why we are there, the Bill of Rights — intended to protect our God-given individual rights as a free people — now ignored on a daily basis, have eroded our Republic. Learn more…

Your 1st Amendment Solution Denied

All Three Branches of Government Refuse to Respond
Brave Americans have done their duty as free men and women and exercised our most profound 1st Amendment right “to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” For 14 years and counting, Bob Schulz and the We The People Foundation for Constitutional Education have been serving Petitions for Redress to the Judicial, Executive and Legislative branches of our government. The lengthy record of these unanswered grievances and violations makes CC2009 necessary.

To the Editor:

Bailouts, layoffs, foreclosures, social decay, family destruction and endless wars. Most don’t know it but virtually every problem that America now suffers is the direct result of violations of the Constitution by our (servant) government. Finally, there is hope! This November, publicly elected citizen-delegates representing the People of each state will convene at a national assembly known as “Continental Congress 2009.”  The purpose of this historic event is to formally document the violations and develop strategies the People can employ to peacefully resist tyranny and restore Constitutional Order.
It’s time to hold our servant government accountable and reclaim the Light of Liberty. Learn more about CC2009 and the true power of Popular Sovereignty at www.GiveMeLiberty.org.

PLEASE do something now for our beloved country.  Thank you!   ~getdclu

1.7M and Top 20 Memorable Signs From the 9/12 D.C. Tea Party

The MSM aside, the computer program used by the Indiana State University to count the number of bodies in a picture gave an accurate figure of 1.7 million people attending the 9-12 march on the mall in D.C. last month.  That’s a bigger number of people gathered for any political event EVER there.  And as subsequent pictures showed, there was very little trash left by these caring folks to be picked up by the local sanitary department the next day.  Very nice, indeed.

Here’s the top 20 list of best signage.

Demonstrators Bused-In to Show Support for Health Care in NH

Poor, poor Dems can’t get a spontaneous outpouring of supporters on their own, so they bus them in!  Video from New Hampshire shows demonstrators pouring off buses as the rain comes down in Portsmouth, just to make it appear like the sides of contention are somewhat even as the President comes through for his town hall meeting there Tuesday.

Specter: Opponents to ObamaCare “not necessarily representative of America” – Then Just Who Do They Represent?

Specter: Opponents to ObamaCare/DemCare are “not necessarily representative of America” – Then Just Who do They Represent?

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

Originated from Statehousecall.org
By Joe Guarino

Newly converted Dem. Sen. Arlen Specter: “I’m not going to complain about being organized. They have a right to speak,” he said, “but I think we have to explain, they’re not necessarily representative of America. I think they’re vocal. I don’t think they’re representative.” See http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090812/ap_on_go_co/us_health_care_protests.

All the more reason that the five-plus organizations (NCPA, SSI, CPR, Galen, AAPS, AFP, et al.) that have been collecting petitions should show up in DC at the end of August with the millions of signed petitions that they have collected.  Politicians know full well that, where there is smoke, there is fire.  They know that when ten or a hundred folks from their district or state are desiring to address them about a specific issue that a factor of ten or more is standing right behind them.  Two million-plus signed petitions landing in their offices will be representative of at least 20 million concerned Americans representing all 50 states.

We have approx. 307 million Americans (http://www.census.gov/).  Approx. 74 million are children (http://aspe.hhs.gov/hsp/trends/pf1.pdf).  In the recent presidential election, 125,225,901 Americans voted (http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/president/)  Approx. 53% voted for Obama, 47% for McCain; that is, approx. 67 million to approx. 58 million.  Since Specter is now a Dem. and has not liked what he sees–he thinks most of those showing up at his town hall events are “not necessarily representative of America“–let’s for the sake of arguement presume that the 20 million I estimated above would tend to side with McCain/the Republicans/the anti-ObamaCare camp (take your pick). That’s slightly more than a third from the opposition.  That’s approx. 16 percent of all who voted.  That’s approx. 8.5 percent of all adults.  Take your pick, Sen. Specter.  This is NOT a fringe group of Americans.

Obama: Healthcare Critics Should Shut Up

David Limbaugh’s blog today punctuates my last post of a President-down, Democrat-induced gag order vividly.  Here it is.

Obama: Healthcare Critics Should Shut Up

Tuesday, August 11, 2009 9:06 AM
By: David Limbaugh
The hubris, arrogance, and deceit of President Barack Obama and the Democratic leadership are breathtaking. In their maniacal frenzy to assume control over every aspect of our lives through socialized medicine, they are behaving like the thuggish autocrats they have proved themselves to be.

The jig is up on their designs, evidenced by the very contents of the health bill they’re promoting. As increasing public awareness has translated into increasing grass-roots opposition to the bill, the Democrats have ratcheted up their bullying tactics and deceit.

Our self-styled bipartisan president is telling his critics to shut up, while his partners in crime, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her colleagues, are calling them un-American and Nazis.

Understand this: The people who are showing up in droves with righteous anger befitting a body politic steeped in a unique liberty tradition are exercising the very type of bottom-up citizen protest and government watchdogging our Founding Fathers envisioned. They are not the artificially driven “AstroTurf” phonies the Democrats are depicting them to be. No, such activities are the province of Saul Alinsky/Obama-type “street organizers” and union thugs enlisted by the administration to discredit these legitimate protests.

It wasn’t enough for Pelosi to call us Nazis. She also co-wrote, with House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, an Op-Ed in USA Today calling us un-American and projecting her own nefarious tactics onto her opposition.

Pelosi and Hoyer accuse the protesters of engaging in “an ugly campaign . . . not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation, but to disrupt public meetings and prevent members of Congress and constituents from conducting a civil dialogue.”

They say: “The first fact is that health insurance reform will mean more patient choice. It will allow every American who likes his or her current plan to keep it. And it will free doctors and patients to make the health decisions that make the most sense, not the most profits for insurance companies.”

How can these government propaganda ministers sleep at night? They are the ones misrepresenting the legislation and closing their meetings to genuine dissent.

In the first place, it is not “health insurance reform.” It is an effort to fundamentally transform the entire healthcare industry and how decisions are made. Their recent move to euphemize this monstrosity as “insurance reform” is part of their strategy to demonize insurance companies in their ruthless quest to shove this down our throats.

The bill would not allow Americans to keep their plans. It would crowd out and eventually eliminate private care; enormously reduce choice, as well as the quantity and quality of care; and be a fiscal nightmare, as verified by Congressional Budget Office projections. Worst of all, it would further destroy our liberties.

And by Obama’s own words, it would decrease doctors’ prerogatives over the type of care they provide. He admits he’d control doctors by making their “bundled payments” conditional on their meeting quality standards imposed by an omniscient, omnipotent government, not doctors and their patients.

Pelosi and Hoyer’s most laughable claim is that their plan “will stand up to any and all critics.”

If that’s so, why don’t they tell the truth about what’s in the bill and truly answer legitimate questions and concerns about it instead of resorting to name-calling and intimidation? If that’s so, why is Obama sending out his hired mouthpiece, Linda Douglass, to deny what Obama most clearly said? She protests that his statements promoting a single-payer system were taken out of context and then gives us absolutely no evidence they were. We are just supposed to disbelieve our lying eyes and ears.

It’s also disingenuous to argue that in any event, Obama’s earlier statements are irrelevant because he says he does not favor a single-payer system today and would protect our right to private care. Again, we have the bill itself, which would phase out private care — mandatorily — so the denials are self-evident lies.

Obama isn’t delegating all the dirty work to his surrogates. Our pseudo-cool leader himself has become conspicuously unglued. About opponents of his outlandishly reckless agenda, he said that he doesn’t “want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking;” he wants “them just to get out of the way so [Democrats] can clean up the mess.” He went on, “I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking.”

He obviously thinks that he has the unilateral right as president, with 53 percent of the vote, to use our money to impoverish and enslave us and destroy our healthcare and that we have no right even to object. We only get to speak every two years.

Well, this president — with a faux-messianic wind boomeranging in his face — has now met his match: an increasingly informed, vigilant, politically engaged and liberty-loving citizenry. And none too soon.

David Limbaugh is a writer, author, and attorney. His book “Bankrupt: The Intellectual and Moral Bankruptcy of Today’s Democratic Party” was released recently in paperback. To find out more about David Limbaugh, please visit his Web site at http://www.DavidLimbaugh.com.
